Ethical. Sustainable. Beautiful.
Handmade jewelry for everybody.
Meet the Creator
Hello! I'm Kaylee, the woman behind all of your jewelry! I created Ola 'Elua with the vision of providing ethical and. sustainable jewelry to those who seek it.
I was born in Hawaii and married a Hawaiian man, so when coming up with a name for my business I started playing around with some Hawaiian phrases. Nothing quite seemed to fit right. Then I discovered the Hawaiian phrase for "second life" which was, of course, ola 'elua. Thus, Ola 'Elua Jewelry was born. I liked the idea of taking something and giving it a second life as something else. For example, taking a sheet of raw brass and turning it into a necklace.
When I am not working on Ola 'Elua, I am being a mom to my two beautiful children. I have a *almost* three year old daughter named Andromeda and a son named Damon whom I had this past July. I take a lot of pride in being their mom and raising them to be good-hearted humans who chose love over hate.
I also really enjoy cooking, my favorite thing to cook is my own recipe of Avocado Chicken, see my blog for the full how to on how I make it!
Caring for your jewelry
Most of our jewelry is made of brass. This material is beautiful and has a natural aging process where it patinas (darkens with age) into a beautiful and unique color for your jewelry!
it is recommended to use a jewelry polishing cloth to clean your jewelry or use warm water and a mild soap with your fingertips or a microfiber cloth.
